I stayed here because of the reviews seen here. The good: 1. The place is beautiful. It does not look like an old house but more like a classy restaurant with a homey feel. 2. L’Occitane for your shampoo, conditioner, and lotion 3. Very nice soft beds with two pillows – I usually have a hard time sleeping in hotels, even the 5 star ones but here I was out like a light. 4. Breakfast – simple menu, the beef tapa is good. Next time I hope to try their other meals It is a bit pricey though, P4th+ for an overnight stay, and this is their cheapest room. But if you want a very comfortable stay, this place is hard to beat. Stayed October 2014, traveled on business
This hotel is tastefully designed and decorated. It was a very comfortable stay, especially after staying in some other hotels in the area. Everything about this hotel was great except for the restaurant. Breakfast was decent but very few options for lunch and dinner. The hotel front desk agents and others were very accommodating and helpful. Internet only available in the lobby. There are no elevators but not a biggy as its only 3 floors. They have a family room which is great if you’re travelling with a family. I also stayed at their penthouse suite which had a great wrap around balcony. All in all a pleasant stay.
The hotel is very clean and tidy. Comfortable beds, clean towels and sheets, very friendly staff. It is relatively new, and appears to be undamaged after the unfortunate typhoon. Overall a great place to stay in Tacloban.
